Answer
Is ISO/IEC 27028 published yet?
Not yet. ISO records ISO/IEC 27028 at stage 60.00, under publication, dated 20 October 2026. ISO states that final production steps take up to seven weeks, which puts the latest expected publication date at 8 December 2026. That is our arithmetic, not an announced date.
What do the stages mean?
Stage 50 is approval: the FDIS ballot opened on 24 August 2026 and closed on 20 October 2026. Stage 60 is publication: 60.00 means under publication and 60.60 means published. The record shows 60.00 on 20 October 2026.
When will it be published?
ISO has announced no date. Its own page says final production steps take up to seven weeks. Seven weeks from 20 October 2026 is 8 December 2026, and the site labels that as our arithmetic.
What if the date moves?
It can. The change watch exists for that reason: it emails when the stage, the dates or the record change.
