Plain terms for a reference site and a document kit. They do not certify anything and they do not replace the official standards.
Accuracy
The requirement, evidence and gap text on this site is our statement in our own words, read from the published record and cited so you can check it. It is not the official text. The ISO/IEC 27028 body is not public, and no clause of it is stated here as the standard's. Check every value against the official text before you rely on it, and check the stage and dates on the ISO page before you plan around them.
Trademarks and copyright
ISO and IEC are the trademarks of their respective owners. The Art of Service is not affiliated with ISO or the IEC, and those bodies have not endorsed this site or approved it. The control titles, defined terms and data element names remain the property of their owners. The pages and the kit are our own work; you may use them inside your organisation, and you may not republish them as your own product or resell them.
No certification, audit or legal advice
Nothing here certifies, audits or validates a management system, and it does not promise a compliance outcome. A certificate is issued against ISO/IEC 27001 by a certification body, and ISO/IEC 27028 is guidance. The free check is a reading of your answers, not an audit. The kit is a document set, not a professional opinion.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, condition or warranty that the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law makes non-excludable. Where our services fail to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy. To the extent the law permits, our liability for a failure is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied, and our liability for any other loss is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the courts of Queensland have jurisdiction.
Kit refund. If the downloaded files do not match the description on the kit page, write within fourteen days and we will refund the kit in full or resend corrected files. Because the kit is a download, a change of mind after the files are delivered is not a ground for a refund except where the Australian Consumer Law requires one.
